Practitioners, theologians and scholars from across the country and around the world will address theological issues, religious practices and inclusion of people with disabilities and their families during the Fifth Annual Summer Institute on Theology and Disability, June 16-20, in Dallas. Participants will unpack the theme, "Caring Theologically and Thinking Pastorally: Disability as a Critical Question and Questioner."

The Bethesda Institute, Watertown, Wis., is proud to sponsor of this interfaith event in partnership with the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Highland Park United Methodist Church (HPUMC), Dallas, and the Faith Inclusion Network of Dallas (FIND), under the auspices of Jewish Family Service.

Registration Fees:
Full session / Professionals $550
Full session / People with disabilities, family members, students $350
Full session / Attendant accompanying a person with disabilities $100
Single day / Professionals $150/per day
Single day / People with disabilities, family members, students $100/per day
Single day / Attendant accompanying a person with disabilities $25
Optional Celebration Dinner and Party at Cafe Herrera on June 19 $25
Parking at event, $20 for full session OR $4 for a single day.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Friday, June 20, the last day of the 2014 Summer Institute, is concurrently the 2014 Symposium of the Faith Inclusion Network of Dallas (FIND). Everyone—including full-week registrants—intending to participate on June 20, must also register at http://bit.ly/2014FIND. Thanks to FIND’s generous sponsorship, all June 20 participants will receive free registration.

Scholarships:
Limited funds for scholarships to cover part of the registration fee are available for people with disabilities, family members and seminary/graduate students. Email Bill Gaventa (bill.gaventa@gmail.com) for more information. A donation added as an "additional contribution" will help fund these scholarships.
